Mini Cosplay Ramp Event at Banchetto
T’was an organized event by Animation
International Licensing, Philippines in part of the Carless Day Campaign of the
Local Gov’t of Ortigas Business District, Pasay City. GrandLinePH crew was
invited to do a mini cosplay ramp to entertain their attendees and bring a
twist to their campaign. We took this as an opportunity to have our cosplayers
boost their confidence and we surely grant their request.
The campaign was to have certain business
district streets to be carless every Sunday and with that they set-up tents for
stores and have a “Bike for Rent” for all ages.
The last Sunday of August, the 26th
was a bit special as the local officials invited cosplayers to their carless
streets. The crew enjoyed the whole afternoon and took advantage of the
streets.

Of course, one of the crowd favorite was Soul
King Brook. Even in this part of town he has fan girls wanting to take pictures
with him, a true celebrity ei. ;D

The
afternoon was just starting when we were called to start the mini cosplay ramp
display. We got the chance to showcase everybody’s characters and it was really
fun.
We also had
the Soul King perform his greatest single, Bone To Be Wild after the ramp. :P Here’s
the video of his performance:
All ends
well and we were really glad to have a fun filled day with a non-mall crowd for
a new experience.
We ended
the day with more pictures from the people of the locality and fans alike.
And few
shots to remember the day by.
We were
really glad to share the joy of cosplaying and we had fun ourselves. We look
forward on future events with the local of Ortigas again and share a fun time
once more.
We thank Animation
International Licensing and the local government of Ortigas of noticing our
crew and giving us this very rare opportunity. And thank you so much for
reading our blog. We hope to see you soon!
