Last September 22, 2012, some
members of Grandline Philippines witnessed Torch 3 (Tournament of Champions)
held at SM City Manila. This was also the day wherein the newest members of
Grandline Philippines got a chance to meet each other.
Grandline
Philippines new released character was the gender bend of Captain Smoker (TJ
Tumangan), Portgas D Ace Strong World version (Neil Strife).

New
members of Grandline Philippines who showed up that day were Dio Park (Dracule
Mihawk), Jemimah Sison Umengan (Jewelrey Bonnie), Ronaldo Bartolome (Roronoa
Zoro), Christine Joy Taso (Perona,) and Mark Doinog (Monkey D Luffy).

The gang also met an
international cosplayer from Germany, who would like to be called as Gekko. He
was cosplaying Trafalgar Law in Germany and was just visiting the Philippines
for a short vacation. We got a chance to talk and take a picture with our new
Nakama, Gekko.

He went back to Germany and with
him was a note on his cos book a short message from Grandline Philippines, the
first cosplay group in the country to ever write on his Cos Book wherein
international cosplayers wrote/draw stuff for him.
One of the
most awaited cosplay events this month! And as the crew would look at it, it’s
the best time to have a Grand Assembly!
Best of
Anime was held at SM Mall of Asia, SMX Convention Center on September 16, 2012.
It was a two-day fun-filled day for all cosplayers and con-goers alike.

GrandLine Philippines crew was spotted on Day 2 wherein they’ve featured the
most number of villains yet, than the Straw Hat Pirates.

we also met Gaby Ortega that day who has
cosplaying as one of Boa Hancock’s crewmate, Margaruette.
It was such
a grand day for the crew. Fellow anime cosplay groups were there too such as
Bleach and Naruto.
And the
Japanese band Uchusentai Noiz
performed there as well, they were really cool!
We are
looking forward for more Grand Assemblies and again and again, we thank you
